Is PPC Consulting Worth It?
As soon as I had my web page up and going I went searching for PPC consulting. There is plenty of information online and in web marketing journals about PCC holding it as the only way to steer traffic to your website or blog quickly, effectively and inexpensively.
Most of the talk is 100% correct. As soon as I started with PPC I saw a flood of traffic to my page. It was almost overnight! I was certain that PPC was the best and only way to get a flood of traffic to any page, anytime you need it. It worked better than backlinks and directory postings! Heck… most of the time when I would try to post to a directory I wouldn’t get listed at all.
But after the first month or so I began to discover that I was using up my money over and over again. The clicks really added up fast and to be truthful, I didn’t see as much of return on my investment as I had hoped.
Google Analytics would show that many of those hits only went for a few seconds. It looked like it was hardly enough time for the site to even load all the way. I knew I had to do something or I might begin to lose my cash! Now, nobody builds a web page just to lose cash. Something had to be done.
So the hunt for a more effective way started. And much to my shock I found something that is even less expensive, but just as easy as PPC! I found PPV.
PPV stands for Pay Per View. No, it’s not on cable…
It’s just like Pay Per Click, but rather than paying $4-$30 (GASP!) per click, you can pay as low as $0.01 each time your webpage is visited! It’s a LARGE change. A click can be automated. Yes, that means that some of your hits might not even be human! But with PPV you get peace of mind realizing that every view is a REAL person that is reviewing your website.
That is very important for the success of your site. I mean… what good will it do if your potential customers aren’t even looking for what you have to sell? The idea of constructing a site is to make make sales. And that is exactly what PPV advertising will do for you.
I can’t think of any other way to get the word out that is so inexpensive. PPV is easy too. Anyone can use this kind of advertising. I am so excited about this discovery and you should be too!
